** We are offering this special low rate for Jan/Feb, and November/ December for 2024 so as to attract bookings during this time.
Norfolk is a lovely place to visit in the winter and the cottage has double glazing and efficient central heating. The log burner in the living room is easy to use and logs can be bought from various local outlets.
Local pubs and restaurants remain open (although some do reduce opening hours a bit!). Local beaches, country parks and woods all provide great opportunities for walking. Many tourist attractions stay open.
Please note- the hot tub will not be in use during these months!
RENTAL NOTES:
- These rates include central heating and electricity. Logs for the wood burner are not included but can be bought locally.
- Please note that at the moment we are not using a cleaning service so we do ask that the cottage is left as you would wish to find it.
- please note the rates shown above are rates per night and are the same for weekends as weekdays
Payment:
- You can pay by online transfer into our account or by cheque or cash. I will send account details when you book.
- For bookings during school holidays we ask for payment at least one month before the start date of your booking (or when you book if it is at short notice).
- For the busiest weeks in the summer holidays we will ask for a deposit.
Cancellation:
- If you cancel more than one month before the start of your booking we will return any money paid.
- For cancellation within one month of the start date due to bereavement or serious illness we will refund all money paid.
- However, if cancellation occurs during this last month due to other reasons we will only refund money if we can find someone else to take the booking.
The calendar on the Availability page will show when the cottage is likely to be free. Please contact us to check your preferred dates.
The cottage is in high demand during the school holidays. Consequently, in the school holidays we prefer to book out complete weeks, Saturday to Saturday, and we apply the cancellation policy outlined below.
At quieter times we will take bookings for weekends or short breaks. It is always worth asking!
This is not a commercial venture- we only rent the cottage out to family and friends, so if you have heard about the cottage from a family member or a friend of ours, please let us know who gave you the details.
